Our busy state of the art MOT & service centre is looking for an experienced auto mechanic technician to join the team in a full-time, permanent position.• You should be experienced and have a good mechanical knowledge on all makes and models as well as be able to work unaided to a high standard.

• Working days are Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:30, Friday 08:30 - 16:00

• Rates of pay are excellent dependent on experience + performance bonusesJust Nice Clean Cars in Warwick is an award-winning & AA Approved, independent Service & MOT Test Centre with 4 ramps plus dedicated MOT testing area. We are seeking a Motor Vehicle Technician to join our Service & MOT Test Centre where we diagnose/repair faults, carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance on all vehicle types, cars and vans.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge with previous experience as a vehicle technician/motor mechanic and provide a high level of attention to detail.
All applicants must hold a valid qualification in vehicle repair and a Full UK Driving Licence.
MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential. As a minimum you will have experience through time-served and/or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential.Summary
As a Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Technician, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your core skills in mechanical knowledge, as well as proficiency with hand and power tools, will be vital in performing repairs and maintenance tasks. You will report to the Workshop Controller and collaborate with a team of skilled technicians. A valid driving license is required to test drive vehicles post-repair. • To carry out motor vehicle servicing and repairs to industry approved standards
• Make routine maintenance checks that a vehicle is running as it should be
• Conducting routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to improve vehicle functionality and longevity
• Utilise a good technical knowledge of a wide range of vehicles
• Troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximise reliability and functionality
• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Perform a full range of restorative and preventative mechanical maintenance, diagnostic, inspection and repair duties on automobiles to a high standard
• Analyse works orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed
• Carry out all types of repairs to vehicles including servicing, brakes, suspension, timing belts, head gaskets, gearbox, clutches etc
• Complete repair and service records and other appropriate activities required to maintain customer records accurately and in line with GDPR regulations
• Carry out tyre changes and wheel alignments when necessary
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent
