We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our Service & MOT Test Centre where we diagnose/repair faults, carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance on all vehicle types, cars and vans.
  The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer service knowledge with previous experience as an automotive service advisor and provide a high level of attention to detail.
  All applicants must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

  Summary
  As a Service Advisor you will have exceptional communication and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, ideally have a strong interest in cars and take pride in both your own reputation and that of Just Nice Clean Cars, recognising that all aspects of the role lead to an enhanced customer experience. As a quick-thinker you’ll be able to manage a busy front desk and juggle multiple tasks but remain personable and welcoming at all times - you’ll be the first point of contact for our valued customers. You’ll need to be confident in answering customer enquiries and explaining technical issues in simple terms so previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a strong knowledge of car repairs and maintenance.

  Main Responsibilities
  • Greeting customers in a friendly, professional and welcoming manner at all times
  • Schedule customer bookings and enquiry management in relation to all service, MOT, warranty work and any other vehicle maintenance requirements that will pass through the workshop
  • Dealing with customer enquiries in a fast and efficient manner whether via telephone, email or online
  • Preparation of job cards for vehicle technicians and understanding the next day’s workload to provide a knowledgeable welcome to customers
  • Recording of customer vehicles on arrival and pre-collection checks
  • Consistent contact with customers to ensure their full knowledge of work being undertaken on their vehicle and manage timeline expectations
  • Reviewing VHC videos, advising customers of advisory work and recording advisories for automated reminders
  • Accurate maintenance of the JNCC Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system through Dragon 2000 and other third-party applications, in accordance with GDPR and PEC regulations
  • Ordering, accurate recording and timely stock management of all parts and fluids, or other elements, attributable to a job and invoicing to the customer
  • Generating accurate customer invoices
  • Requesting and maintaining 5-star reviews
  • Working together to ensure the presentation of the service office and reception areas are maintained to the highest standards

  All applicants must hold a valid qualification in vehicle repair and a Full UK Driving Licence.
  MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential. As a minimum you will have experience through time-served and/or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential.

  As a Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Technician, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your core skills in mechanical knowledge, as well as proficiency with hand and power tools, will be vital in performing repairs and maintenance tasks. You will report to the Workshop Controller and collaborate with a team of skilled technicians. A valid driving license is required to test drive vehicles post-repair.   Main Responsibilities

  • To carry out motor vehicle servicing and repairs to industry approved standards
  • Make routine maintenance checks that a vehicle is running as it should be
  • Conducting routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to improve vehicle functionality and longevity
  • Utilise a good technical knowledge of a wide range of vehicles
  • Troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximise reliability and functionality
  • Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
  • Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
  • Perform a full range of restorative and preventative mechanical maintenance, diagnostic, inspection and repair duties on automobiles to a high standard
  • Analyse works orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed
  • Carry out all types of repairs to vehicles including servicing, brakes, suspension, timing belts, head gaskets, gearbox, clutches etc
  • Complete repair and service records and other appropriate activities required to maintain customer records accurately and in line with GDPR regulations
  • Carry out tyre changes and wheel alignments when necessary
  • Work as part of a team to deliver excellent
